54th NJ Irish Festival - Sunday, June 7, 2026 - 11 am to 5 pm
Requirements:
You must raise $ (goal $1000 per horse), get in a horse suit,
run down the homestretch in 2- 4 inches of mud in front of 80,000 people,
hope to make it to the finish line…
and win absolutely nothing but the satisfaction of helping others!

How It Works
When: June 7, 2026
Where: Monmouth Park Racetrack
Time: Race will take place between real horse races (to be determined)
Course: 1/16 of a mile dash out of actual starting gate & down the front homestretch. The track announcer will call race live over the P.A.
Who: Up to 10 “horses” per race and their handlers
Cost: Buy-in goal for each “horse” is to generate as much money as possible – raised from friends, family, co-workers, strangers, etc.
$1000 PER HORSE IS THE GOAL
Monies raised by the NJ Irish Festival Foundation’s
“Human Horse” races will be donated the charities above.
